What do you do when the elders jump in their spaceship? I'll tell you what you do. You get out your tracking device and try to lock in on their homing beam before it gets out of range, and just hope that they forgot to turn on the cloaking device. At least you might catch a vector. know what I mean? So, if you don't pick up any signal, because you might be too darn far away, on assignment, or whatever, then you just have to start combing and sweeping the sky. That's really all that's left. Cooperates with other children, often can't tell what's real and what's make-believe, is more and more creative with make-believe play, sings a song or poem from memory, can say first and last name, starts to understand time, tells stories, uses scissors, catches a bounced ball most of the time...these are all attributes of your favorite four-year old show, The Distract and Disable Program and its host, Glue Banta, which and who happen(s) to be celebrating FOUR WHOLE YEARS OF SHOWS on WGXC! It's time for the fun again. How do I know? Because I have this strange scratchy sensation located somewhere between my upper palette, my inner ear, and my amygdala. What's that? It happens to you too? Well, the only thing that makes it stop for me is Distract and Disable. Which makes me wonder if there isn't something else going on. There are several weeks that I simply do not recall. I do seem to remember these antennas though. Hmmmm... But enough about me and my problems. I would highly recommend that you tune in to WGXC. If for no other reason to stop the itchy/scratchy. And there's always the archives in case of a sudden flare up/relapse of your symptoms. //GB

Some hosts are better than others, but The Others keep trotting them out. At least this one has a big box of Glue's tapes. The other good news is that it seems that this host likes novelty songs. Glue would approve. All in all, I think it has worked out just fine, and so might you. If there is candy to be had, then this guy will be there. He may look like an ordinary pooch, but this is a little fella who eats candy like it's going out of style. Not sure exactly how he developed a sweet tooth, but it's too late to point fingers. The truth is all we can do now is try to wean him off the stuff. Thought it would make sense to start by 1) not giving him candy 2) hiding the candy where he can't find it 3) tuning into this month's episode of The Distract and Disable Program on WGXC. Well it's about time Glue took a vacation. All that time spent on assignment can really take a toll on a (g)host. What is hard to say is where he actually went. Did he go back home? Did he travel to the Far East? Or is he just taking a stay-cation? We may never know unless we ask him when we see him next. The only problem with that idea is that he hasn't been seen since he landed on Planet Abu. At least his transmitters seem to be working. That's a good sign. His sonic beacon is blasting back to HQ like nobody's business. Thank goodness we didn't forget to put that soldering kit in his survival pack. 

In any event, as you know, the show must go on! So, don't forget to tune in to WGXC this Saturday at 2pm Eastern/1pm Central/10pm Planet Abu time for Distract and Disable Program #44. Try it out.
